DVR recordings no longer fast forwarding or rewinding

hello,

I've recorded several movies for my kids and we were always able to replay them just fine. Until recently, we are no longer able to fast forward or rewind so we have to sit through the commercials even though these are recorded movies. Please help and thank you!

    Hello there and welcome to our forums @ mqstack

    I am very sorry to learn you are experiencing an issue with the DVRs fast forward or rewind option. Is this happening on all recorded shows or just randomly happening? Have you attempted to do a manual reset of the box yet? This can be done by unplugging the box from the cable line and the power line for a solid 3-5 minutes.

    Good evening @Lyn_T that would be for the box. But this is in the Spectrum app category. However, @mqstack mentions being able to DVR rewind/fast forward in the past, so I would recommend a cold reboot of the equipment as well.
