Are there any pending plans to enable direct access to the Spectrum TV app on LG televisions?

    Agreed that Spectrum TV App on LG WebOS would be greatly appreciated. LG's market share is significant, and it is wasteful to have to add an external streaming device to an already smart TV.

    I'm upset about this. We bought a new TV and the clerk told us the LG Smart TV would get any app available. We got everything set up and found out we can't get the Spectrum app.

    This wouldn't normally be an issue because we have Spectrum cable, but there are many times the Spectrum cable is out, has a bad connection, or generally won't get certain local channels certain times of the day. We can get those channels on the app.

    Now we have a new expensive LG tv that won't get the Spectrum app.

    Can we get an answer from Spectrum or from LG about getting this app available?

    I apologize that you were informed incorrectly. Currently you would need to use something like a Roku device or Apple TV device with the LG TV in order to use the Spectrum TV app. While our app team is always working on new features and on expanding the availability of the app, they do not provide us with information on when those features or other platforms will be made available.
