Welcome Text Msg from 87598- Spectrum Notification alert.

Received the following text to my Primary Ph# attached to my Spectrum Cable account:

"Spectrum notification alerts: Welcome. Msg frequency based on account activity. Text STOP to stop.. Msg and data rates may apply."

I did previously have a Spectrum mobile number, but the account is closed . This number never associated with the mobile account. Spectrum mobile has no ideas as to reason fortext message.

Not a new customer I am a long time customer,.
