Spectrum app. change channels does not stop scrolling

I have a Roku Ultra, when using the spectrum app. if want to change channels, if you hold down button, channels do not stop scrolling. only way to stop is to exit app. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the spectrum app, restarted my roku, bought a new remote. None has resolved this problem.

Hi & welcome!
The app authenticate through the modem. Restarting the modem on the account will usually resolve most issues. If the issue continues, then please try restarting the Roku from the settings menu.
