Connecting to "Spectrum Free Trial" hotspot

I have been trying to set up my new Samsung Tablet to access "Spectrum Free Trial" hotspot it used to work on my previous samsung tab.

I connect to the hotspot.

Then select Spectrum Customer Sign in

either my user name and PW and I always get the same msg

"Unable to Connect we're sorry something didn't work quite right Please try again"

Been trying again for weeks.

    I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue when trying to use our WiFi Hot spots. I am not sure what steps you have already completed yet. Is your device up to date on all recommended updates? Have you tried another device to see if you are able to connect using our hot spots yet? -Lyn

    It is a brand new tablet, current. Same issue on my older device.

    Try both my spectrum "username" acct - the one used to login here and my main email address acct.

    Have you tried resetting the password?

    It says the password can only be reset id.spectrum.net which I am logged into right now with the same credentials. So So I change my password?

    Correct, changing the password will refresh the authentication. Please test access again after changing the password.
