Why so many updates?

Today I got my 6th text. What is going on? These texts started last Monday.

Spectrum: Network upgrade tomorrow between 6AM and 4PM. No access to 911 with Spectrum Voice. Have options like a cell phone for emergency.

We are performing some upgrades to our fiber lines in your area. This type of work is extensive and does take multiple days to complete. If the work stays on schedule the work is slotted to be completed by 10/13/2023. (that date is subject to change) Please let us know if you need any further assistance. -Lyn
