Why does spectrum keep asking to reset my password to sign in?

We experienced this a few weeks ago when trying to sign in through ESPN. Now it asking to reset the password again.

why is this happening again?

    Welcome to our community! Does the password reset only happen when you're trying to sign in to ESPN (or other 3rd party apps) or does it happen when trying to log in to the Spectrum TV app as well?

    Does this happen no matter what or just when there are or could be multiple account auth's concurrently active directly and/or with any one or more third-party apps? Not that such should necessarily cause the effect but at least it could be preventing somebody else from illegitimately bogarting your account.
