Welcome!
There is no channel number for Paramount+. It is provided through Spectrum on the Internet, with the prerequisite requirement that you must subscribe to any Spectrum Select or MI Latino Cable TV package plan. It is an Internet streaming package provided through a joint-venture with Spectrum and Paramount+. Users must activate Paramount+ Essentialsonce they meet the CATV package requirements. They can activate Paramount+ through this link:

Note that the Spectrum/Paramount+ free plan does not override any previous subscription to Paramount+ through another third party. Users must pay any third party subscriptions to Paramount+ that are due and than cancel Paramount Plus through that third party, and than sign up through Spectrum at the above link.
It is an Internet-based free subscription activated through your PC or mobile device. The pay channel Showtime is not included with this offer, and remains an optional premium channel that can be ordered through Spectrum for an additional $10.00 a month.

I am so disappointed with paramount +. Every time I try to watch something it freezes up after the multiple annoying ads. I have tried shutting down/unplugging my tv and router and it doesn't help. Don't offer a free app if it isn't going to work correctly!!!

If you have a PC or Android device and you are getting the ads:
1.) Check to make sure you have any Spectrum CATV Select or MI Latino plan.
2.) Install the Ghostery ad blocker and tracking protection on all of your web-browsers for PC. It stops all the ads!
Go to the Spectrum activation link to set up Paramount+ Essentials using the same log in credentials that you use here on the forum:

Update,
If you install the Ghostery ad blocker, to get Paramount+ Essentials through Spectrum, by blocking the ads, you can remove other ad blocking extensions by uninstallig them. I recommend this as more than one ad blocker can conflict and slow down your browser.

I take it that ad blocking is bound to make matters worse but that's just me. I'm an unfrozen caveman. Your modern ways frighten and confuse me.

I have been using Ghostery on my PC browsers for several years, and at Paramount+'s site with no problems. Sometimes this recent update for some reason over-looks Yahoo Mail ads. It was doing that last week, but that issue seems to be fixed. Yes, with Paramount+ and Ghostery you are ad free. Even on You Tube, they have finally pretty much stopped the "Ad Blocker is a Violation of You Tube Policy" that so many people hate.
If you want built in ad blocking and fantastic tracking protection, install the Brave Browser. No extensions needed. Set Brave's shields to the highest setting, and your web mail ads are gone!
