    Welcome!

    If you rent the router from Spectrum, you can not do individual updates, those are pushed out by Spectrum automatically. If you own your router, search for the name and model number of the router online for how to get updates. Modern routers to own,should have an update toggle on/off switch in Settings. Rented router update settings can not be adjusted.
