    Hello @hmarktaylor

Welcome to our community! I was able to locate the account using your community registration and I do see that this was escalated to our level 3 support this evening so they can resolve the port issues. It can take a few days for them to research, make any necessary contact with T-mobile regarding the port, and correct any errors that may be holding things up, but they will contact you as soon as that work is completed.

apparently it is possible to port my number from t-mobile to spectrum from reading the above post in a discussion that has since been closed. many people have this issue. I have contacted support many times and told to contact t-mobile. However, it is not an issue on their side - it is something on the Spectrum side. please help. Spectrum and Verizon have a good signal at our new residence but t-mobile does not.

    Hey all,

Good information from the Spectrum database on transferring mobile phone carriers. Steps to take for most popular carriers (Including T-Mobile) are at the link. Everyone "Note the note at the site", which says:

Note: "Don't disconnect your service with your previous carrier before requesting to transfer your number to Spectrum Mobile. If you do so, you may not be able to keep your phone number. "

There are often unfortunate lengthy delays with porting numbers from one carrier to another. The reason for this is that the previous company wants to keep you as a customer, so sometimes they will make things more difficult than they need to be in order to get the transfer done. I have personally heard and had experienced port completion that can take up to two weeks even though all the companies say things like 4-7 days. Here's the helpful info on porting previous mobile phone numbers to Spectrum:
