When I contact Spectrum.net they tell me that Symmetrical speeds are coming soon, I have also had service on my internet speeds, I have 1 gig and they gave me the new 6e router while the technician was there, they told me everything was in place for the Symmetrical speeds but there was no time frame when it would be implemented. if and when this upgrade is available will i need a upgraded router Wi-Fi 7 for this service?

Good morning @Athose!
That is correct, at this time there is no timeframe on when it will be available in the Columbus area. However, with you having Gig speeds currently, you will not need to upgrade your router to a Wifi7 router, as the Wifi6e router is able to handle speeds of 2.5x2.5 Gbps. Once more information is available for your area, in regard to availability, we will begin notifying all of our customers.
