I lose connectivity every day between 0400 and 0630

Since Nov 2024 and now, I lose connectivity every day between 0400 and 0630. When I check the website, etc. Spectrum says there are no outages in my area, yet, I cannot watch TV during that time. Yes, I've rebooted / unplugged everything, I know the drill by heart after dealing with Spectrum for the last several years and, eventually, service is restored but I want to know why this happens EVERY day! Prior to 2022, I had "cut the cord" and didn't have cable and was quite happy with all the channels I was able to access for free and never dealt with outages (unless it was electrical). Anyone else losing Spectrum service every morning?

Hi @RocketRancher, welcome to our community!
I'm sorry our service is going down so frequently, I understand how frustrating that must be. I've checked your account and our modem is remaining online with healthy signal strength. I'm not able to communicate with our router, but the modem is showing it was last connected to equipment by Netgear or DWnet. Are you using your own router instead? Were you having the same issue with ours? Did you also replace the ethernet cable, and is there anything near the cable or either modem or router that could be causing interference?0 -
I bought a Netgear Router because I had SO much trouble with the Spectrum one. I has worked fine until recently.
Yes, previous Spectrum routers continuously dropped service, so when neighbors (who were experiencing the same issue) recommended Netgear, I bought one. A service tech was here a month or two ago, after I got Xumo (which has been difficult for us - separate issues) and checked the cables and hook-up. He pronounced everything was fine.
Being that we only experience the connectivity issue during that 2-hour window in the early morning; it is baffling and greatly annoying. We would like to watch the news and have coffee. The reference code: XSTLP-10350 -
Does this just impact the Xumo or do you lose internet completely on all other devices? Do you have any devices that can connect with an ethernet cable, instead of WiFi?

Apparently, Xumo, as our phones and PC will still work. This morning, before turning the TV on, I powered down the modem and router and read the newspaper. At 5am, I restored power and poured a cup of coffee. Turned on the TV and everything was fine (fingers crossed). If Xumo holds for another 20 minutes, I will consider this a success.
Not crazy about having to make this my daily routine but if I can watch the morning news, I'll be happy. My husband has dementia and becomes VERY agitated when he can't watch what he wants, when he wants so I'm motivated to find a permanent fix to this issue. Thank you for your help!
