Unexpected error has occurred when trying to change security code

I recently got an email that my security code has been added or changed. I logged into the account and changed the password, but when I tried to change the security code again, I get an error that "An unexpected error has occurred". I tried changing it via the website using Safari on Mac and Firefox on Windows, and once more using the app on my iPhone, all three give the same error message. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Good morning,@UltraMiner245.

Welcome to our community. Can you try these steps?

    1. Sign in as the primary user.
    2. Select More, and then select Settings.
    3. Select Sign in & Security and then scroll to security code.
    4. Your current security code will be displayed. To change it, select the arrow, enter a new, four-digit code and select Save.

That's what I have been doing, just tried it again and it gives the same error.

I also tried entering the new code but not entering it in the confirm section and it did give the correct error message that I need to confirm the code that time, so it's not like it's always giving that one error, it's just only giving that one error when I try changing it properly.

    Hi & welcome!

If your role is not ADMIN (ie: Primary), then can you try having the user with the ADMIN permissions log in and make the update?

Let us know if this works and you have any other questions. Thanks!

There is only one user, the primary, and I still can't change it for some reason.

Thank you for trying that and for providing us with the additional information. I recommend trying to reset your password first. Once you have this completed, I would then try to update or change your security code. Please let us know if this helps out. -Lyn
