I received a text message saying that major network upgrades will take place on August 16th in my area which is zip 78358. Do you know what this upgrade will add to our services?

Hey @cgaris61, welcome to our community! It sounds like your area is receiving upgrades for our network evolution. The main benefits of these upgrades are faster uploads speeds, and faster overall speed in the future. The faster upload may take a while before it goes into effect, you should receive notifications letting you know when.

Thank you for the information. That is what I suspected and was hoping it would be.
