How do I pause, rewind, ff using cloud dvr in Spectrum app on brand new Samsung Smart TV?

Hi and welcome!
Currently, Cloud DVR is not supported on Samsung TV. The Spectrum TV App is supported, but to manage and view Cloud DVR programming you would need a supported device, including Apple & Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV or ROKU.

are there any smart TV that support this? I went to best buy and the salesperson there said "oh if you have spectrum, you want a samsung" sounds like that may have been bad advice.

Currently, there are no TV's that support Cloud DVR, Cloud DVR is only available on the supported devices listed above. For access to the Spectrum TV app, we partner with Samsung.
